Success again, in 2010. First Bank of Berne was ranked the #1
best performing bank in the state of Indiana for the first quarter of
2010. This being the 5th quarter in a row that First Bank of Berne has
earned the prestigious honor of #1 from the Indiana Bank Performance
Report completed by Financial Management Consulting Group.
The quarterly report analyzes the 102 Indiana banks on nine various financial factors such as interest margin, efficiency, asset quality (loans) and profits. First Bank of Berne had the best overall average ranking for the 2010 first quarter and the entire year of 2009, after having held the honor for the second quarter in 2008.
