
First Bank of Berne Promotes Kent Liechty
First Bank of Berne President, Charles E. Isch is pleased to announce that Kent L. Liechty has been promoted to Executive Vice President of the bank. He had previously held the position of Senior Vice President.
Kent is a 1986 graduate of South Adams High School, graduated from Purdue with a B/S in Agricultural Economics in 1993, received his MBA in 1996 from Indiana University and the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, Wisconsin in 2000.
Mr. Liechty is on the board of Swiss Village, Inc., serving as board President; a board member of Youth for Christ and a board member of the Berne Community Development Corporation. He is also involved in Junior Achievement, a member of the First Mennonite Church, serving as Sunday school teacher and various committees of the church.
Kent lives in Berne with his wife Teri, son Evan and daughter Riley. He has been employed with First Bank of Berne since 1997.
