First Bank of Berne New Branch Ribbon Cutting
November 30, 2009
Berne, IN-
A ribbon cutting ceremony for First Bank of Berne's new Berne
branch at 1105 N. US 27 took place Monday morning, November 30, at 8:45
in celebration of opening the new 4800 square foot building for
business. The much needed new facility will aid in providing better
service to customers through easier access, convenient parking
facilities, improved technology and better overall efficiencies designed
to benefit the customers and employees.
Bank employees, board members, chamber representatives, city officials, and local contractors were all on hand for the celebration. A grand opening will be held Friday, December 11th. It seems hard to believe that only 160 days ago a ground breaking ceremony took place at this very location.
First Bank of Berne, the #1 bank in the state of Indiana has assets of over $400 million and operates a total of eight offices in Berne, Decatur, Bluffton, Portland, IN and Van Wert, OH.
